Saskatchewan mom jailed for sex with son’s teenaged buddies
“I didn’t want to lose my virginity to her”
Kelley Minogue, a Warman woman who had sex with three of her son’s teenaged friends, is headed to a federal penitentiary.
“She left scars that don’t go away,” said the mother of one of the victims, speaking Thursday in Saskatoon provincial court.
Minogue, 39, was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of sexual interference.
Crown prosecutor Sheryl Fillo outlined how Minogue would buy alcohol for her son’s friends while they partied at her Warman home in the fall of 2010. On several occasions, she had sex with three of the 14-year-olds after they had gotten drunk on the alcohol she supplied.
On one occasion, Minogue — a divorced mother of two — was alone in her home with two boys when one asked if she wanted to have a threesome. At first she said no, pointing out they were “too young” and she could go to jail. But the three ultimately did have sex.
